Rat

I’m a bit torn about that. A rat at daylight - there are probably many more. Today she was regularly at the bird feeding place and helped herself. I was able to sit comfortably in the back door and take photos from about six feet away.

In the following photo, I really like the background, which appears a bit colored by weed bags and flower pots: Our dog was lying behind me in the basement corridor. I wonder if the rat just sniffed it out? But she wasn’t deterred.

I had the following photo in mind for a long time - today the hit. The flower and flower bench provide a nice frame for the rodent.

The whole time she always came out from behind the cherry tree from the neighbor’s bushes, collected a few sunflower seeds and then carried them away. It must be a nest there. After a while she was gone for now.
