A week with unattractive weather and the Z9 are behind me. At this point there should only be a few sample photos. The feeding place in front of my window is always very cozy and productive:

This year the greenfinches are back. None of them showed up the previous winter.

Three pairs of bullfinches are regular guests. They have been seen for a few days looking for nesting material.

The chaffinches hold back a bit. They are mostly found on the ground, scavenging what sparrows and blackbirds scatter.

I’m always particularly happy about the hawfinches. Two couples come to visit regularly. They are quite shy and any movement behind the window will drive them away.
